Beertopia's Beer School is back for our Fall Session 2016!

Ever wondered about beer cultures around the world? Curious to why it's called an IPA? Why Russian Imperial Stouts were created? Find yourself perplexed by the difference between a Belgian Double, Trippel and Quadruple? Or do you want to explore some of the more rare and unusual beer styles?

Then Beer School is for you!! Besides, what other class requires beer drinking?

Classes are only $20 each (signup for all seven and you'll save $20) and includes 8-10 4oz samples and snacks. Payment is due at signup and classes can fill up quick so don't wait!

Starting Monday, October 17th and continuing on Monday's until December 12th, from 7-9:30pm, our extremely popular Beer School returns!

*Please note that there will be no class on October 31st or November 7th.

Beer School is hosted by Infusion Brewing Co. Head Brewer Aaron Bush, and Beer Corner USA beertender, Chris Bettini. These classes are sure to please any beer minded drinker.

October 17, 2016 • How Beer Is Made - Hosted at Infusion Brewing Company Southwest - 6271 S 118th St

Omaha, NE 68137. Step into the mind of a brewer and learn how ingredients used in the brewing process create the flavors in your beer, as well as the basics into how beer is brewed. This course will lay the foundation for the weeks following as we taste beers from major brewing sources around the world.

October 24, 2016 • Beers of the United Kingdom - (Max &Joe's) The great grandfather of many American beer styles, get back to your beers roots. No bollocks here!

October 31, 2016 - No class (Halloween)

November 7, 2016 - No Class (ReubenFest 2016)

November 14, 2006 • Biers of Germany & the Czech Republic (Huber-Haus) - These old world beers have played a large part to the post prohibition era of beer in America, and in much of the word. Prost!

November 21, 2016 • Beers of the United States (Max &Joe's) - American is no longer seen as lowly brewers of just pale lagers, and have now created a brewing scene that is changing the world. See how those styles are changing the face of brewing. USA! USA! USA!

November 28, 2016 • Beers of Belgium (Max &Joe's) - Taste the "Disneyland of Beer Styles" and of of the worlds more eclectic brewing regions. One of the first "Beercation" destinations, see why Belgium has became so popular.

December 5, 2016 • Specialty Beer Styles (Max &Joe's) - With over 20,000 beer styles in the world it no wonder we can't fit them all into each session. Those rare and unusual styles that you may have never heard of will make up the theme of the night.

December 12, 2016 • "Beer Town USA (Max &Joe's) - The History of Omaha Breweries" with Beer Corner USA & Infusion Brewing Company Owner Bill Baburek - Omaha has been a beer loving town since it was first incorporated, and has a long love affair with its frothy goodness.
