Bent Life, hailing from Lincoln and Omaha, have been playing a punishing brand of New York style heavy hardcore in the vein of Merauder, Madball, Leeway, and Outburst since forming in the fall of 2010. In their 5+ years as a band they've embarked on countless US tours with prominent hardcore acts such as Expire, Bitter End, Rotting Out, The Beautiful Ones, and many more. More recently their tours have taken them to Europe and Japan, with more world touring on the horizon. After previously releasing 3 EPs via 6131 Records & Bad Teeth Recordings, Bent Life recently signed with renowned Massachusetts based record label, Bridge Nine Records, who has put out many of the most noteworthy hardcore records of the last 20 years. Bent Life spent the last year writing and finally recording their debut full length for Bridge Nine titled "Never Asked For Heaven." The album was engineered and mixed by Nick Jett of Terror, and mastered by Paul Miner (New Found Glory, Thrice, Phobia, Mötorhead) in Los Angeles. Never Asked For Heaven is 10 new songs that Bent Life says "fully represents the sound and attitude" they have been striving for.

Joining them for their record release show are Midwest powerviolence legends, Weekend Nachos from Chicago, who are winding down their final year of performances before they disband this November. Weekend Nachos recently released their final full length record "Apology" via Relapse Records. Bent Life and Weekend Nachos will also be kicking off a weekend of shows that will take them to Minneapolis and Milwaukee. Also joining the show is Kansas City based hardcore band, Spine, and Omaha punk locals, Bib.
