WILKOMMEN, BIENVENUE to Creighton University Theatre's production of CABARET!
This 1998 version of the musical, and winner of a combined 15 Tony Awards for the original 1966 production and 1998 reivival, revolves around the young cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young writer, Cliff Bradshaw. Meanwhile, a romance buds between German boarding house owner, Fräulein Schneider, and her elderly suitor, Herr Schultz, a Jewish fruit vendor. Overseeing the action is the Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub, as the club serves as a metaphor for the on-coming rise of fascist Germany.
Directed by Amy Lane. Musical Direction by Stephen Scheftz. Choreography by Patrick Roddy.
CABARET contains strong language and sexual content.
