Joslyn Art Museum's Young Art Patrons (YAP) presents the fifth annual GLOW in the Garden on Friday, September 28, from 7:30-11 pm in the Museum's Peter Kiewit Foundation Sculpture Garden. Omaha's premier masquerade event, GLOW attendees enjoy games on the lawn, music and dancing, tasty local fare, and cocktails surrounded by sculpture, water features, and cozy lights.
Dante Pizzeria Napoletana will be onsite with a mobile pizza oven; The Churro Truck will serve their authentic street tacos and traditional, warm, fresh churros; guests can linger over a decadent buffet of sweet treats from local bakeries; and the cash bar will feature a GLOW signature drink. DJ ANIMALE's unique mix of hip-hop, electronica, rock, international music, and mashups will set the tone as party-goers hit the dance floor, framed by the Museum's gardens and grand staircase. Alfa Romeo of Omaha will have cars on display and activities will include a variety of yard games. A GLOW After Party will be held in the Blackstone District, with attendees receiving free drink tickets at Butterfish, Red Lion Lounge, and Stirnella Bar & Kitchen, compliments of Meadowlark Management.
GLOW attire is classic cocktail, and masks are encouraged. This is a 21 and over event; cash bar; ATM onsite. GLOW is $25 for YAP members in advance (limit two tickets per YAP member); $35 for the general public in advance; $40 for all at the door. General public groups of ten or more receive YAP member pricing ($25 per ticket) if booked in advance group discount automatically applied at checkout online).
