Ken Sitler will be performing at The Dubliner! $5 cover!

Born and raised in the state of Pennsylvania, Ken has been performing for nearly 30 years. As a teen he immersed himself in the music of classic rock icons like The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, The Who and The Doors.

While in college, his musical aperture widened as he embraced the sounds of the day, falling in love with the music of Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, and Nirvana, to name a few. He took all of those influences and his experiences singing as a youth and channeled it into his own performances as the lead singer and songwriter for his Pittsburgh based band.

After completing an information science degree at the University of Pittsburgh, Ken was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force. His favorite assignment was a 3-year tour of duty in Germany, where he performed scores of live and televised shows throughout Europe during his off-duty time with his band GerAmi.

Wanting to move beyond singing front man, Ken bought a guitar, and taught himself to perform the songs of the singers and bands he loved.

Ken's Air Force career eventually landed him in Omaha, where he now performs regularly throughout the metro area.

A typical Ken Sitler show features songs by a diverse range of artists, to include classics by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Tom Petty, but Ken is equally adept at covering the hits of more contemporary artists such as Pearl Jam, Coldplay, and Foo Fighters, as well as his own popular original songs.
