Omaha Int'l Folk Dancers: Spring Celebration of World Dance

Sarah Cooper 728 views

Our performance set will include dances from Balkan nations, Western Europe, Israel and Russia - maybe even the USA!. Our teaching session will feature fun, easy dances from throughout the world.

Omaha International Folk Dancers have been learning, teaching, educating and performing for almost 40 years. We danced in Lincoln, Nebraska 25 years ago celebrating Nebraska's 125th birthday - in June we will dance again celebrating 150 years of Nebraska's statehood. Omaha International Folk Dancers attend dance workshops across the country. We then bring those new dances back to our group. It is our joy to perform at ethnic festivals, community celebrations, nursing homes, schools, churches - and it is our delight to teach dance for any event. All are welcome at Omaha International Folk Dance. We meet every Sunday afternoon - 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Call Jennifer Forbes-Baily at 402 513 6062 for additional information about attending or to book a performance.
