Amassing die-hard fans across the world, the Northern Colorado band Pandas & People has become one of the hottest alternative folk acts. The combination traditional folk-anthemic vocal harmonies similar to the Head & the Heart and the irresistible energy of hook-laden alternative rock acts like Twenty One Pilots, Pandas & People has enticed audiences across the country with a fusion of sound that sticks with you from the moment you hit play.
Held together by lead vocalist and bassist Joshua Scheer and guitarist Johnny Day, Pandas & People began as a side project in a basement in Colorado in 2013. Feedback from family and friends shoved Pandas & People from the back burner toward the center stage, and, after recording their first single "On My Way" in November 2013, receiving airplay from Denver's famed alternative station Channel 93.3 KTCL.
Since their humble beginnings, the band has risen to significant heights, from playing Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre for KTCL's Big Gig in 2015 to supporting acts like Twenty One Pilots, The Oh Hellos, Doobie Brothers, Collective Soul, & Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
The band, now accompanied by Grayson Erhard on Mandolin, Adam Haag on Percussion and Conrad Marshall on Guitar during live performances, Pandas & People offers a traditional folk sound with an underlying hint of alternative rock.
Pandas & People have been voted "Best New Artist" by The Colorado Sound and were nominated as "Best Folk Band in Colorado" by Westword Magazine two years in a row.
Their latest singles "Out to Sea" and "Find You" are available on Spotify, iTunes, & Apple Music.
