Ventura Blvd is a tribute to the music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The band played its first show for a celebration event of the life and music of Tom Petty, while giving to charities that Petty supported. The musicians are in many other current bands in the area, including Floyd, Hotel Desperado, ReCaptured, and Achilles' Last Band. Since their debut, their commitment to excellence and sonic purity has seen their fan base and crowd response grow with every performance. With many capable lead vocalists in the group, multiple talents take turns singing the hits, giving each song a fresh voice for the audience to hear while making the best music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers sound as authentic as Tom Petty fans can hope for.
